The Black Bart Players want to encourage the community to rent the theater for their special events. From meetings to fundraisers, we would like the theater to be used as much as possible. The following is a "dual" rate schedule to reflect our interest in promoting events that are community oriented. These would be events to which the community is invited, and/or is a benefit to the community at large. The BBP management reserves the right to make the distinction between "Community Oriented" and "private or commercial" events. To save the community money, long term events are calculated differently and are based upon usage of theater resources. Please inquire for details.

The above rates include use of general room lighting, and heat or air conditioning as required.

Arrangements for special events not covered above are always open for negotiation. Use of the Playhouse must necessarily be scheduled around Black Bart Players production schedules, including some restrictions during rehearsal and set construction periods. During these times, the stage itself may not be available. However, the "Apron" area (with curtain drawn) can usually be arranged. In general, daytime use is not restricted, but evening use is limited to other than rehearsal and performance nights.
Arrangements must be made for public liability insurance coverage by the renter before any occupancy can occur. Various plans are available ---See Treasurer Diane Brown
